Preppy Bathroom
Preppy style
These homeowners wanted to renovate this shared, hall bathroom without the expense of changing the layout. The existing bathroom, with white vanities, white tiles, and minimal recessed lighting, was showing its age. The space was overdue for a makeover that could make the most of its unusual floor plan, with a shower tucked into an alcove and flanked by two vanities. This newly renovated bathroom is now the perfect shared space for two teenage boys.
Pattern Play
This space keeps it neutral with grey and white, yet still really packs a punch. We love the layering of pattern with the elongated subway tiled shower walls, the marble penny round tile on the shower floor, the veining of the quartz countertops and backsplash and, of course, the show-stopping marble floor that gives this space a playful vibe.
Light & Bright
To make these two vanities, both of which are tucked away in alcoves, lighter and brighter, new mirrors were installed an all three sides of the nook and sconce lighting in a shiny chrome were mounted directly on to the mirror. This once dark and dreary bathroom is now filled with light.
“A huge thank you to Craig Russell and his crew for helping with a very last minute project at our house after we had moved to Chicago! After hiring Craig for a variety of other projects–both big and small–over the years, we knew without a doubt we could trust Craig and his crew to get the job done–completely stress-free!”
